If you’re reading this blog you probably already know me, so feel free to make fun of whatever I write in this section…or anywhere, really.
My name is Luke and I’m a follower of Jesus. I’ve been blessed with five years of marriage to my superlative wife Shelby. I’m in the Masters of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies program at Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon. There are too many thoughts going through my head to process them all, especially now that I’m back in school, so this is a place for me to record some of them, practice writing, and interact with you about those thoughts if you are so inclined. Thoughts may range from absurd to awesome, from theological to mycological, or from coffee to zymurgy.
If I were French and my name was Pascal, the name of this blog would be Pensées, but I’m not so it’s not. Chesterton said, “tourists see what they came to see, travelers see what they see.” I’ve been both, and know which I prefer. Chesterton also said “there are no uninteresting things, only uninterested people” hence the web address. That way,
when if no one ever reads any of this, I can blame you, not my own writing.
